This was my favourite panel beating hammer, used this for a long time on the airframe components of the St. Ives Spitfire mk5B project. The hickory handle is cut beautifully, oiled and fits superbly in the hand, it’s well balanced. The faces have been cared for, usually polished to mirror however I’ve just left a brush finish on this occasion to remove the surface rust. A truly great hammer that will last forever.
