This seal is to seal the headlamp glass lens to the rim on sloping headlamps. Without it water will be able to get into the headlight causing condensation on the glass and rusting of the reflector & headlamp bowl We also stock the headlamp rim to body seal available from the Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop.
