These clips are used to hold the release bearing to the clutch operating arm on pre 1970 VWs. These are a direct replacement for the original style only these are far easier to install. Sold as a pair to fit one release bearing New early and late style release bearings are also available from the Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop.
