We’ve designed them to last longer than wire and other abrasive discs. Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral made using a 3M process, to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. Scotch-Brite bristle discs use aluminium oxide blended with ceramic abrasive grain, and the result is one of the hardest, longest-lasting minerals available.
