LANDROVER DEFENDER HEAVY DUTY REAR DRIVE SHAFT KIT BOTH REAR WITH H/D TERRAFIRMA FLANGES. The Raptor HD shafts are made from SAE4340 Nickel Chromoly alloy steel which when heated provides the optimum level of strength and flex, the ability to twist without breaking as well as extremely high fatigue resistance which enables the shafts to tolerate repeated shock loading. This ability to flex without breaking also helps protect other drive train components. All shafts are 24 spline and primarily suited to post 1994 axles, although they can be fitted to earlier vehicles with additional work. Raptor shafts replace the KAM shafts that were previously offered in our range, and a simpler one piece Raptor CV joint replaces the KAM 2 piece CV and fitting kit.
