Package includes a ribbon cable for E38 / E39 instrument cluster, and an instruction manual. The clear 8 page, step by step photo/English instructions guide you through the replacement. You need only a few ordinary tools for the replacement - Ribbon cable, a drill (size 6), nippers, and 3 screw drivers, a torx, a small and a big flat head. I followed the instructions supplied and found whilst initially nervous, there was no reason to be nervous. I bought two ribbons when I first encountered the issue on my L322. Pixels didn't fail after this fix, L322 now sold and so selling the spare.
