The paddock stand has impressed me with its quality, a worthwhile investment that offers great value for money, easy to assemble and features adjustable width settings to accommodate most bikes.

I've been using one on my BMW F750GS, as there's no suitable spot in the garage for my bobbins. With the width set, I can position it at the swing arm on the lower side stand, and start to lift the bike with ease - just one-handed push down, and it's up! The weight of the bike is manageable when you're starting out, as long as you've got a firm grip on the stand. As you get more comfortable, you can take off from the floor and hold onto the side stand without worrying about instability.

In my experience, this stand seems robust and well-made, designed to withstand even the heaviest loads. It's easy to lift when it's fully seated on the rear wheel, and securing it in place is a straightforward process that can be done with one hand. One thing to keep in mind - if you're not careful, it might get left down while you're taking off from the garage floor. The bike's design seems to be a mismatch for this particular use case, which may have contributed to its performance issues.

It appears that the weight of the bike may be a concern, as it can cause the bike to tilt or slide to one side when pushed, making it difficult to raise and clear the floor. Additionally, the bike's seat height might not provide sufficient clearance for the wheels to operate smoothly on smooth surfaces like tarmac.

I thought buying this roller device would be a cheap and easy way to clean my motorbike's chain, but I was pleasantly surprised by its performance.

The substantial rubber pad under the rollers made a huge difference as I didn't have to worry about it slipping out of place when rolling my bike's back wheel onto them. It took me a few tries to get the wheels lined up perfectly, which wasn't ideal - but once you do perfect the alignment, you still have to feed the wheel and much of your own weight over the rollers to clean the chain.

In hindsight, I realize that this was always going to be a challenge, but the smooth surface of the rollers made it worth it. When I finally gave up and bought a paddock stand for my bike, my rear end is fully supported, leaving me free to focus on cleaning the chain.
